Who we are
Thereby Guide is a free directory from Thereby, a legal technology company that also sells services to law firms. We’re not a law firm or a lawyer referral service, and listing is free whether or not a firm uses Thereby.
What we do
- Plain-language guidesShort guides for the weeks after an injury. Every legal fact links to its source.
- Your state’s deadlineThe usual deadline to file an injury lawsuit in each state, with sources, once we have checked it against the official text. Until then, we say so.
- A directory of injury law firmsFirms near you, by city and type of case. Every fact shows where it came from and when. How we list firms.
What we don’t do
- We don’t give legal advice. We’re not a law firm or a lawyer referral service.
- We don’t rank firms or say which one is “best”, and we don’t show ratings, reviews, or fees.
- We don’t sell placement. Listing is free for every firm and never depends on buying anything.
- We don’t pass you to a firm. You choose whether and when to contact one, directly.
